Abstract: As educators seek to find strategic methods to demonstrate impact and influence, we advocate the 4Cs strategy to disseminating teaching practice—from the Classroom, through the Corridors, across the Campus and out to the Community. The 4Cs Strategy guides educators to think consciously about their connections to their students, colleagues, institution and broader networks in all these spheres of influence. Taking a strategic approach to sharing practice empowers educators to structure their engagement with colleagues near and far, and disseminate their innovations to the right people at the right time, thus increasing their personal influence and reputation.
