Abstract: Students often struggle to distinguish motivational theories from each other and appropriately apply them to novel situations. This session demonstrates a 30-minute class activity that helps students solidify different motivational theories covered in a course. Originally designed as an in-person class activity with airplanes, the framework has an adaptation for online classes using anagrams. During this interactive session, participants will complete the team activity, discuss the main learning objectives and key teachable moments, and leave equipped to integrate the activity into any course that covers motivation.
