Abstract: The exercise is based on my experience with Miro©, an online collaboration tool, to teach innovation topics in MBA and Master courses. The learning activities involve a formative asynchronous activity that encourages students to collate information in preparation for a summative group task synchronously with a mix of on-campus, online, and hybrid groups. A simplified version of these learning activities at MOBTS involves participants collating information on a Miro© board at a time that suits them, followed by working collaboratively on the board as part of the allocated session. In addition to this ‘taster’ experience, participants will receive copies of the course learning outcomes, assignment instructions, and marking guides from the existing courses for inspiration and adaptation in their teaching. As well as showing how learning activities can be designed to blend asynchronous and synchronous learning, the involvement of MOBTS in-person and online participants is intentional.
