Experiential Learning Method Sampler: Taste Testing Engaged Learning Approaches

This session offers participants an opportunity to enhance their repertoire of experiential learning (EL) methods that may be appropriate for all types of management courses and is designed for management educators at all career stages. After introductions and brief overviews of each of the experiential learning methods provided at each roundtable, we then break out into groups facilitated by method experts who will engage participants in a discussion about their experiential learning method. This will cover the method’s considerations for use, relevant elements of implementation, and other issues as raised by participants. Participants will be offered an opportunity to switch tables during the session with the number of rotations pending timing. Participants can expect to leave with an expanded view of experiential learning methods, tips and takeaways from discussions with peers, and an enriched network of experts representing multiple experiential learning approaches.
