Meet The Journal Editors: Journal of Management Education & Management Teaching Review

This session introduces two of the society’s journals—Journal of Management Education and Management Teaching Review— to the MOBTS Oceania community. The Journal of Management Education (JME) is our Society’s original journal and is well-respected for its SoTL research, instructional innovations, and essays. Management Teaching Review is the newest journal and provides impactful teaching materials for educators and opportunities to publish experiential exercises, resource reviews, and pedagogy translation articles. In this session, participants learn about the journal’s mission and scope, how to align their manuscripts with each journal’s sections, and hear advice for preparing their manuscripts. We will discuss our editorial philosophies and the submission and review process. The session will conclude with a Q&A session and, time permitting, an opportunity to discuss your manuscripts with members of the editorial team in breakout sessions. In addition, we will share details about special issue opportunities and the new interview section.
