Micro-Expressions of Care In Higher Education Creating An Environment of Care

In this roundtable, we will explore how, as educators, we show care to our students withn the context of higher education institutions that use formal policies, processes, and procedures to manage their duty of care to students. The purpose of the roundtable is to engage other academics in how they care for their students in small ways that can create an environment of empathy, compassion, and well-being when students are experiencing high levels of stress, anxiety, and depression in their student and personal lives.
