Fun, Flexibility, and The Future of Learning: Rethinking Engagement In The Age of Ai

The classroom is changing faster than most institutions can adapt. Attendance is falling, AI is becoming omnipresent, and educators are caught between innovation and exhaustion. This interactive roundtable examines how we might rebuild engagement by balancing fun and flexibility with integrity and connection in technology-mediated learning environments. Participants will share strategies, surface tensions, and imagine new possibilities for teaching that feel both human and relevant. At its core, the session asks a simple but urgent question: is it time for a paradigm shift in how we think about learning, presence, and participation?
