From Notes To Knowing: An Interactive Ai-Enabled Sensemaking Activity With Notebook Lm

Abstract: This activity invites students to engage in collaborative, multimodal inquiry using NotebookLM as an AI-enabled learning companion. The exercise fosters curiosity, playful exploration, and critical thinking by guiding students to interrogate course artefacts, surface tensions in competing ideas, and co-construct actionable insights. The activity models how AI tools can deepen learning through interactive, team-based sensemaking.
