"It Happens To Everyone, But No One Talks About It": Sharing Our Stories of Failure and Recovery As Management Educators

Failure is a common and inevitable experience in academic life but is rarely discussed publicly. In this roundtable we will provide a safe space to share our failures as management educators and consider how we can successfully recover from these experiences. We will also discuss how we can equip our students and junior scholars with the skills needed to cope with failures and build resiliency. We will highlight specific strategies and approaches that educators can use in their classrooms as well as initiatives at the institutional level that can help to normalise failure and encourage vulnerable transparency among scholars.
