The Mid-Atlantic Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference

Invitation to Attend MOBTz – Fall 20

“Our Mid-semester Conversation”

Venue- Zoom

Saturday, November 14, 2020 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

The Theme…

Virtual classes present the classic combination of risk and opportunity. Teaching in Zoom or other media has the possibility of new class designs and a new partnership of students and faculty.

The MOBTz intends to present some new ideas and provoke interesting discussion. We are looking at teaching innovations that make full use of digital media, interesting assignments, and new ways of learning.

The Conversation will start with two innovative experiential exercises and include opportunities for discussion with colleagues. There will also be a large group discussion of “Student Needs in a Virtual Class versus Faculty Needs.” This will feature a panel of both instructors and current students. So, that should be interesting!

The $10 registration fee includes all conference materials, breakfast, lunch, and

even cookies… assuming you have all of this at home!

That same fee will be donated in full to a local food pantry to do our part to help with food insecurity. It’s what we call a value proposition and we hope you like it!
