Pracademia: Increasing impact in and out of the classroom

practice, impact, thought leadership

Faculty who connect effectively with practitioners—whether through consulting, executive education, research, guest speaking, advisory boards, mentoring, or other means—support a virtuous cycle of teaching and learning about what matters. Keeping a pulse on what keeps workplace professionals up at night enables academics to engage with real issues, which can facilitate thought leadership, which in turn can be used by management students and practitioners to address workplace challenges. In this workshop, we help faculty engage in this pracademic journey, enabling them to increase their impact in and out of the classroom.
