For individual faculty members, the course syllabus – the most basic teaching document and the first course document students see – is an ideal place to invoke the framework of inclusiveness and demonstrate awareness of diversity. This workshop will focus on accessible syllabus design as a technique faculty can use from Day 1 to signal and promote inclusion in their classrooms.
