Is this authentic enough?

Abstract: The concept of authentic assessment has been around in health and apprenticeship programs for years, however, the concept is now gaining traction in business schools. The main advantage is that authentic assessment tends to make students more employable by incorporating skills that are relevant to organisations. This session covers the basics of authentic assessment and its integration into courses, and then gives an example of an assignment that has been used for several years where students prepare a consultancy-like report on their own workplace.
