Fried Faculty: Slowing the Burn

Abstract: Covid-19 made an impact on the way that higher education faculty and administrators work. Exploring challenges to teaching and learning and discussing the best practices to create a new norm will be explored. The topics explored in the roundtable include faculty burnout, workload creep, job security, organizational changes, harassment- colleagues/students, and bad habits lead to bad faculty. Are you a “fried faculty” who needs to slow the burn? Are you ready to beta something new? Come and discuss your experiences and walk away with new practices to reengage in teaching and learning.
