ChatGPT: Natural Language Processing Discussion

Abstract: The seemingly rapid emergence of chatGPT as a tool in higher education has caused a a significant amount of consternation to network administrators and educators. This discussion includes a practical exercise to familiarize participants with chatGPT and consider the nature of its output. Discussants are asked to decide how to use the tool in the classroom as a teaching aid to increase critical thinking skills. Ethical issues will also be discussed.
