MOBTS Refund Policy
MOBTS strongly recommends that attendees explore trip insurance when booking flights, hotels, etc. Please ensure that such insurance covers issues such as COVID-19 should that be of concern.
After payment has been made for conference registration to either the USA or International events:
- 30+ Days Prior* to Conference: 100% Refund
- 15-30 Days Prior* to Conference: 50% Refund
- Less Than 15 Days Prior* to Conference: No Refund can be Provided
Upcoming Conference Refund Policy Dates
MOBTS 2023 at Jacksonville University
- 100%: By May 5th
- 50%: May 5th - May 20th
- No Refund: May 21st onward
International MOBTS at University of St. Andrews
- 100%: June 23rd
- 50%: June 24th - July 8th
- No Refund: July 9th onward
MOBTS shall not be held liable for failure of performing its reasonably expected conference obligations if such failure or delay is the result of an 'act of God', such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations. MOBTS shall not be held liable in the event the attendee/registrant is unable to attend and/or participate in the MOBTS conference as a result of illness (COVID-19 or otherwise), 'an act of God', such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations.
MOBTS cannot make exceptions to this refund policy. Come the dates listed above, the organization has already incurred a guaranteed expense that will be charged to the Society regardless of attendance.
