Physical Attendance
In-person conference registration fees include attendance to all sessions, as well as any socials, plenaries, ceremonies, and ‘swag’ at the conference check-in desk. Please note that you in order to provide the most accurate numbers to our campus hosts and eliminate waste, you will pre-register for evening options such as our dinners, event, etc.
Those that select registration with on-campus accommodations will be provided housing in the residence halls. We strive to make on-site accommodations as pleasant as possible, typically restricting suite usage to four (4) attendees (with private bedrooms) to two (2) bathrooms (4:2 ratio).
In addition, you will receive a one-year membership to MOBTS.org, a one-year subscription to the Journal of Management Education, and a one-year subscription to Management Teaching Review.
Additional institutional benefits may be provided through our Institutional Affiliates program which provide for expanded promotion of your institution, conference registrations for several attendees, preconference Doctoral or Early Education Institute workshops, and more.
Virtual Attendance
Virtual presenter/attendee fees include attendance to a hybrid-friendly program, a one-year membership to MOBTS.org, a one-year subscription to the Journal of Management Education, and a one-year subscription to Management Teaching Review.
Conference Registration Fees
Downtown: For those staying off-site, but wanting to stay in close proximity of the conference (~11 minute drive), we recommend staying in the downtown area on either the north or south bank of the St. Johns River. You can view available hotels by clicking here. Downtown will also be in closer proximity to San Marco and Riverside, two very beautiful edges to the city with amazing restaurants and bars. Our recommended hotels are:
- Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront
- DoubleTree by Hilton
- Marriott Jacksonville Downtown
Oceanfront: If you are desiring to stay at the ocean, you can view those options here. These hotels are about 30 minutes away. We do not have any recommended hotels out this way; however, the "One Ocean Spa & Resort" is the most upscale of these if that is what you're looking for. Most of these are very nice oceanfront big chain hotels.
Campus Side: There are a few hotels off of 295 heading toward the campus; however, these hotels are only a couple of minutes closer to campus than the downtown ones, thus they do not offer any real benefits. We recommend staying downtown when compared to these hotels.
St. Johns Town Center: Finally, there is the shopping district of St. Johns Town Center. These are 17-20 minutes away from campus. If you're looking to do a little shopping, perhaps looking to keep the kids a bit more occupied, this is a bit more central location to such offerings, as well as it gets you slightly closer to places like St. Augustine.
If you have time, we do recommend you exploring Amelia Island / Fernandina Beach and/or St. Augustine; however, both are just far enough away that we would not recommend you staying there during the conference.
