Conference Theme: “Rooted in Core Values”!
Conference Chair: Lisa Brady, Southeastern Louisiana University
In an era when management education is rapidly changing - due in part to technology, shifting student expectations, and evolving institutional priorities - it’s easy to lose sight of the principles that first inspired us to teach and that continue to keep us rooted.
The 2026 conference theme, “Rooted in Core Values,” invites us to pause, reflect, and re-center ourselves in what grounds our work as educators. Our core values sustain not only our classrooms but also our community of practice.
All Are Welcome
We encourage submissions from educators at every career stage, including graduate students, early-career faculty, mid-career professionals, and long-time MOBTS contributors. Submissions may include exercises, cases, panels/symposia, roundtable discussions, professional development workshops, or case studies.
Consider submissions that:
- Share innovative teaching practices grounded in ethical reflection and real-world relevance.
- Explore how values shape our roles and guide our actions in our work, both in and out of the classroom.
- Foster empathy, inclusion, and authentic connection among students and faculty.
- Reflect on personal or institutional challenges while remaining guided by integrity and purpose.
- Highlight strategies for developing our students to be ethical and values-based professionals and leaders.
Virtual presenters may submit with the caveat that at least one (1) individual is physically present at the conference to facilitate the session and discussion in a hybrid environment.
We Hope You’ll Join Us!
Join us in Ann Arbor to celebrate our shared and individual values, nurture yourself and our community, and strengthen the ethical and educational foundations of management teaching.
All submissions are double-anonymously reviewed. Accepted submissions will have the opportunity to be included in our Conference Proceedings with ISBN.
