MOBTS 2026 PARKING INFORMATION
Parking on the University of Michigan campus is managed by two separate entities: U-M Logistics, Transportation & Parking (LTP) for campus structures, and the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for city-owned public structures and meters. Below you will find the options closest to the Michigan League (911 North University Ave) and North Quad Residence Halls (105 S State St).
Recommended Options

The closest public parking structure to the Michigan League. No permit required. EV charging stations available. Height clearance: 6'8".
Overnight: You may park overnight. Rates apply continuously at $1.65/hour Mon - Sat. A full 24-hour park costs approximately $39.60. Free from Saturday 6pm through Monday 4am.
$1.65/hour daytime · $5.00 flat rate overnight
A capped overnight charge of $5.00 applies when entering after 3:00pm and exiting before 6:00am the following morning. The $5.00 flat rate also applies all day Saturday. This is the most affordable overnight option downtown.
For commuters staying at local hotels: Park at Library Lane in the afternoon/evening for $5.00 overnight, then move to Maynard in the morning for conference hours, or use Library Lane all day at the standard $1.65/hour rate.

The closest structure to the Michigan League via the Fletcher Street pedestrian connector. Take the South Elevator to the Plaza Level (P), exit right, and walk toward N. University Avenue.
Overnight: Open 24/7. Per university policy, vehicles must exit within 48 hours. A full 24-hour park costs approximately $60.00. Lost ticket fee is also $60.00 - keep your ticket safe.
Tip: Charges apply Mon - Sat, 7:00am - 9:00pm. Free on Sundays.
Additional Parking Options
One block from the Michigan League. This is a U-M permit-gated structure during weekday hours. It may be accessible for event parking at a $10 flat rate in evenings (after 5:00pm Mon - Fri, after 3:00pm Sat - Sun). Not recommended for daytime conference parking unless you hold a U-M permit.
Alternate entrance: Palmer Drive (rear entrance off Washtenaw Ave) enters the same structure on Level 2.
Like Fletcher, this is a U-M permit-gated structure during weekday hours, with $10 flat-rate event parking available in evenings. Directly across from Hill Auditorium.
Accessibility note: The "A" levels require stairs. To avoid stairs entirely, park on levels with just a number (Level 2, Level 3, etc.). The lower level has extensive handicapped parking.

Street Metered Parking
$2.50/hour at standard meters · $1.25/hour at half-price meters
Metered spaces are available on streets surrounding the Michigan League (N. University Ave, Fletcher St, State St) and near North Quad (State St, E. Washington).
Enforcement: Monday - Saturday, 8:00am - 6:00pm only. Meters are free evenings, Sundays, and city holidays.
Payment: Pay via the ePark mobile app (allows remote top-offs if you need more time) or at block pay station kiosks by coin or credit card. Bills are not accepted.
Time limits are posted on each meter. Check signage carefully. Expired meter fines start at $15 if paid by the next business day, escalating to $70 after 30 days.
Note: Street meters are not suitable for overnight parking.

Tips for MOBTS Attendees
- U-M campus structures (Palmer, Fletcher, Thayer) require vehicles to exit within 48 hours.
- Do not park in permit-only or color-coded U-M lots without a valid permit - fines are enforced year-round.
- Keep your Palmer Structure parking ticket. The lost ticket fee is $60.00.
- Street meter time limits are strictly enforced Mon - Sat through 6:00pm.
- The ePark app allows you to extend meter time remotely, which is very helpful if a session runs long.
