Call for Proposals: Up to $2,000 for your Teaching Innovation or Pedagogical Research ideas

Do you have a new teaching strategy you want to pilot? Are you designing a rigorous pedagogical research study but lack the funding to get started?

MOBTS wants to fund your idea.

We are accepting applications for our brand new Teaching Innovation & Pedagogical Research Mini-Grants. We are looking for projects that facilitate vibrant and experiential learning experiences or advance the scholarship of teaching and learning in management education.

The Snapshot:

  • Who: Full-time faculty and Doctoral Students who are current MOBTS Members are eligible to apply.
  • What: Receive up to $2,000 in grant funding per successful application.
  • When: Submit by August 23, 2026.

Your Impact: Grant recipients will be invited to present their findings at the 2027 MOBTS USA Conference (in Vegas!) to an enthusiastic audience.

Additionally, recipients are expected to submit their completed manuscripts first to our society’s premier journals:

  • Teaching Innovation projects should be submitted to the Management Teaching Review (MTR).
  • Pedagogical Research projects should be submitted to the Journal of Management Education (JME).

Finally, grant recipients will be required to provide a progress and budget report prior to the next MOBTS USA conference.
